Day 4
And now a word from Chip!
Greetings all,
We finally got the wifi to work so we can now post pics as well. Today we went and got our picture taken Victorian style. We both got to dress up and pose in front of custom settings of the period. I think the pics look great and will be a wonderful way to remember this trip. We also went to Green Gables and saw the place that inspired Lucy Maud to write the Anne stories. The adventure included a walk through the haunted forest and then after we braved that segment we were an hungered and had to eat a blue berry scone.
We then went to a fun park and road go-carts. E did so good, I didn't even lap her... ;) There was a group of Asian young adults there having a grand old time cheering and laughing with each other. We couldn't understand a thing they said but it was fun.
We then went to lunch and had lobster wraps. I was really quite surprised how close the imitation crab we get at Lee's tastes to the lobster I had in my wrap--I hope it was the real thing.... anyway, good to know I can get a good imitation lobster meat anytime. After that we drove and drove and bought some small items.
Traffic has been great, roads nice and clear for the most part and people have been very kind to us tourists. I hope all is well back in the US, I miss you all terribly, lots of love-- "Chip" (aka Daddy, Cool Guy, Captain Awesome, etc.)

Church on the Island
We can't get Chip's computer to log into the wifi here, so we get to do email updates instead. They are from my iPod though, so no pictures. I will post any I get a chance to, but it may not be until we get home.
We went to the Charlottetown branch today and was such a treat! I feel so blessed to be a part of a church that has worldwide family. We talked to so many kind people. There was a woman there with an 18 year-old autistic son. He was such a sweetheart! His sweetness reminded me of how sweet my kiddos are :)
There was also a woman there who had a baby nine days after my sweet baby was born. That baby girl was cute and I wished I could show mine off too. Lol!
Yesterday was very long. What should have been a ten hour drive took us 14. We got in about one in the morning local time. We didn't have a chance to stop for groceries like we had wanted to, so we had to o to walmart today to get something to hold us until tomorrow. Can we say Nutella? :D
Preparations
So this is where we will be staying on our trip. Cute eh? I'm really looking forward to being in such a quaint little town. We got our plane tickets yesterday. This is really happening!!! We leave a week from today and get to be gone for ten days!
I'm certain I'm going to missing my kiddos like crazy! Thank goodness for Skype and blogs :)
So, our basic itinerary is we fly out of SLC Friday afternoon and get to Manchester NH by midnight. Then we either get to hang out in the air port for 5 hours, pay a taxi to get to our hotel, or beg the hotel to come get us even though we'll be at least an hour after they've sent their shuttle dude home. Sounds fun?
Saturday we get to drive for 10 1/2 hours to get to Prince Edward Island. Luckily, we'll get to stop at a few places on the way and stretch our legs. I need to find a bunch of podcasts for us to listen too on the drive.
We'll go to the local branch on Sunday. I am really excited for this one! The only other time I've attended a branch was in Italy. We may end that day with a walk on the beach or something simple.
Monday is spent on PEI, Tuesday is Chip's training day in New Brunswick, and then we spend the rest of the week on PEI. We drive back to NH on Saturday and fly home Sunday morning. We're hoping to get back home around 5:30. I'm not exactly sure on times for our flights though.
HOORAY!!!

Update
Yep, I got back out of the habit of updating again. It seems like this always happens after a baby. Speaking of baby...
She's very nearly seven months old now. I can't ever believe it! She is so sweet. We have had so much fun loving on her. We've got her sleeping through the night consistently so life is good. She's got her two bottom teeth and she doesn't like her binkie anymore.
In other news, we went to Prince Edward Island in June for 10 days. It was so wonderful! One of the big draws to to PEI is Lucy Maud Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables. This house inspired Lucy. It was so beautiful all over the island.

Life is really good :)
I really am loving life right now. Chip and I have a second honeymoon scheduled for this summer and I can hardly wait! We will be going to Prince Edward Island and staying in this sweet little bed and breakfast.
One thing about this trip that I am looking forward to? Chip has a business meeting he has to go to that is about 2 1/2 hours away and will last 3 hours if we're lucky. I get to spend 9, that's right NINE, hours all by myself, doing WHATEVER I want to. Since it IS a vacation, I see myself spending a lot of time reading, sleeping, and hanging out in the double jacuzzi! Also, I may want to spend a little time with the hostess and her daughters. And the cats. She has THREE cats and I think it will be such a treat to have three sweet kitties hanging around me :)
We have all of Wednesday and Thursday to do whatever we want as a couple which will also be spectacular. We're thinking bike riding, canoeing, sightseeing, maybe spend some time at the beach. Pretty much, I'm expecting Heaven. A week of no diaper changing, no cleaning messes, no fighting, no whining, no washing bottles. Yep, Heaven!

I Guess I'm Healing :)
So, after my three miscarriages, I've wanted to do something to memorialize those babies. I kind of wanted to get a ring made with all their birthstones on it, but I didn't know if I should include the month they were due or the month I miscarried them. Even the month they were conceived would be an option. Anyway, I finally found a site that does hand stamped necklaces and birthstones. I really liked them, so I started filling one out, just to see what kind of price I'm looking at.
Shockingly, I can't remember the exact dates anymore. I know that may not sound shocking to some, but it's a rather huge step for me to put them behind me. Now I'm even considering not getting the necklace or a ring. I am so happy with my life at the moment. I have three fabulous children, one of which is a precious baby. My husband is so good to me. I don't know what I ever did to get a guy like him, but I would choose him again in a heartbeat!!!
So, I guess I'm healing. Time really does help heal wounds. Love does a lot of healing as well. Thanks to all my readers that made that painful journey with me. It's so nice to know I'm not alone :)
